Jon Lai is virtual production stage operator
and environment artist.

Jon has been a part of the opening of three different virtual production stages. The first at Louisiana State University was part of his graduate work, and is now used in interdepartmental courses.

The next two were built as part of Arthrex’s Studio X and are used to produce marketing and medical education content. Jon was the first operator and environment artist at the opening of Studio X, and is working to expand the studio’s capabilities with his experience in photogrammetry, motion capture, compositing, and shaders in Unreal Engine.
